5 Tips To Mastering A Four Hour Vocal Session

Years ago I remember having a conversation with a producer I work with often by the name of Ajay Shah. He spent many hours in the studio with David Foster in which he relayed a story to me regarding cutting vocals. The meat of the story was this, if an artist couldn’t get the vocal in four takes David would tell him/her to go home and come back when they were ready.
